Performance Additives Organised Blood Donation Drive at Its Subang Jaya Office

On 23 October 2024, Performance Additives, in collaboration with the National Blood Centre (NBC), held a blood donation drive at its Malaysian headquarters in Subang Jaya as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for the year. The event aimed to contribute to the community by supporting the NBC’s mission to maintain a sufficient and safe blood supply for those in need.

Despite the strict eligibility criteria set by the NBC, which is designed to ensure the safety of both donors and recipients, 40 employees successfully donated their blood. Their generosity reflects the spirit of giving and the desire to make a positive impact beyond the workplace. To acknowledge their contributions, each donor received a certificate of appreciation from the NBC.

This blood donation highlights our efforts to give back to the society and creating a culture of care and responsibility. By organising such initiatives, we hope to inspire others to consider the importance of blood donation and how one simple act can make a world of difference.

The 11th Internation Rubber Glove Conference and Exhibition (IRGCE 2024) erupted into life from September 3-5, 2024, at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), transforming the venue into a buzzing hub of innovation and opportunity for all participants. Performance additives was at the forefront, proudly showcasing our sustainable additives to the latex industry. We were thrilled to partner with our affiliate, Behn Meyer, a renowned chemical solution provider, amplifying our presence in the event.

Performance Additives truly found its place under the exhilarating theme “Towards and effective, sustainable and innovative rubber glove industry.” IRGCE pulsated with energy as professionals explored cutting-edge technologies, championed sustainability initiatives and forged invaluable connections. The atmosphere around the booth crackled with excitement as attendees engaged in lively networking and strategic business discussions. We had remarkable engagements on Nitrosamine free solutions, a key step towards sustainable solutions in the latex industry.

Attending the Deutsche Kautschuktagung (DKT) 2024 in Nuremberg was an incredibly enlightening and inspiring experience. The conference, renowned for being a premier event in the rubber industry, lived up to its reputation by bringing together some of the brightest minds and leading innovators in the field.

One of the most impressive aspects of DKT 2024 was the conference’s focus on sustainability and the circular economy. It was encouraging to see how the rubber industry is proactively addressing environmental concerns by developing sustainable materials and recycling technologies.

Beyond the technical knowledge, the networking opportunities at DKT 2024 were invaluable. Connecting with peers, industry leaders, and potential collaborators provided a platform for sharing ideas, discussing challenges, and exploring partnerships. These interactions are essential for driving innovation and progress in the rubber industry.

The exhibition was a highlight in itself, with over 300 exhibitors showcasing a wide range of products, technologies, and services. It was an excellent opportunity to see live demonstrations and engage directly with suppliers and innovators. The breadth and depth of the exhibition underscored the dynamic nature of the rubber industry.

Lastly, Nuremberg proved to be the perfect host city for DKT 2024. Its rich history, cultural vibrancy, and modern amenities provided a welcoming and stimulating environment for the conference. Performance Additives presents its product range at Rubber Eurasia 2024

From April 17-20, 2024, Performance Additives participated in Rubber Eurasia 2024 at the Tüyap İstanbul Fair Convention and Congress Centre in Turkiye in collaboration with our distribution partner, Univar Solutions. This event, recognized as the 11th Rubber Technologies, Rubber Products and Raw Materials Fair, serves as a biennial platform for industry leaders to showcase their latest innovations to a diverse audience of professionals from around the world. The four main areas of the event include rubber products, machinery, laboratory equipment and raw materials.

Throughout the show, Performance Additives showcased its cutting-edge innovations in rubber raw materials, with a particular focus on processing additives to optimize manufacturing processes in the rubber industry. The interest in our additives, which have proven their effectiveness in streamlining various aspects of rubber production, was overwhelmingly positive. In addition to re-engaging with our customer base, PA's technical team also held discussions with potential customers from a wide range of industries. Discussions focused on identifying and overcoming processing challenges, with an emphasis on how our additives offer practical solutions to improve efficiency and product quality.

To summarize, our participation in Rubber Eurasia 2024 not only provided valuable networking opportunities, but also demonstrated our efforts to advance the rubber industry through innovative solutions. PERFORMANCE ADDITIVES AT INDIA RUBBER EXPO 2024

Performance Additives participated in the IRE 2024 (India Rubber Expo) at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai, India, from March 20 to 22 together with our trading partner Sarvan Carbochem. After a long period of travel restrictions and several virtual events since 2019, the event took place again. IRE 2024 saw the participation of over 350 exhibitors from India and around the world, spread across 30,000 square meters, welcoming more than 35,000 visitors over the three days of the event.

Our booth was very busy and we received many new business inquiries and positive feedback, especially from global and local tire manufacturers. We were pleased to meet many visitors from the rubber industry and introduce our latest breakthrough in rubber processing additives, the DFR series.

As our materials are largely made from biomaterials, PA is responsible for equipping customers with detailed information about the sustainability of our products and enabling them to make informed decisions when manufacturing rubber products.
